    What to do at home

    1. Check the limb: pads, nails, between toes
    2. Rest 24–48 hours, no walks or play
    3. Cold pack 10–15 min for swelling (through cloth)
    4. Do not give human painkillers — toxic

    • →Refuses to bear weight
    • →Limping over 48 hours
    • →Visible wound or heavy bleeding

    FAQ

    Can I give my dog ibuprofen?

    Absolutely not — toxic to dogs and cats. Only vet-prescribed pain relief.
